Air Fryer Chicken Casserole
It is a perfect meal for those who love a one-pot quick and hearty dinner; this Air Fryer Chicken Casserole tosses juicy chicken, egg noodles and vegetables with melted cheese.

Ingredients:
- 8 ounces egg noodles
- 2 cups chicken from the shop bought rotisserie chicken, or other cooked chicken of your choice
- 2 cups broccoli florets – fresh or frozen or steamed (as preferred)
- UNSALTED BUTTER 4 tablespoons (melts).
- Cheddar Cheese @ 1 cup of shredded cheese
- One can (10. 5 ounces) cream of chicken soup
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Equipment:
- Air fryer
- A casserole dish perhaps or baking pan
Instructions:
- Prepare Noodles: Bring water to a boil in a medium saucepan and cook the egg noodles in boiling water following the directions on the package. Pour and scoop noodles and sauce both back into the saucepan.
- Mix Ingredients: Take noodles and add rotisserie chicken and broccoli florets in to the noodles. Mix in the melted butter, the shredded cheddar cheese, the cream of chicken soup, the sour cream and both the salt and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Prepare Dish: Preheat your oven and prepare your casserole dish or baking pan: lightly grease with non-stick cooking spray. Pour this mixture on the dish and level it out.
- Air Fry: Place the air fryer temperature to 350°F (175°C) and air fry for 4-6 minutes depending on how melted and bubbly the cheese is.
- Serve: Serve the casserole while it’s still hot as it is when it comes out of the air fryer.

- Crunchy Add-Ins: Cracker crumbs (e.g., Ritz crackers), crushed tortilla chips, or crispy tater tots.

- Cheese: Swap cheddar for Mexican cheese blend, Colby-Jack, or any other creamy cheese of your choice.
- Soup: Cream of mushroom soup can be used instead of cream of chicken.

- Air Fryer Size: I use a Cosori 5.8 qt. or 6.8 qt. air fryer. Adjust the cooking time by 1-2 minutes depending on your air fryer’s size and wattage.
Storage and Reheating:
- Storage: Allow the casserole to cool completely before storing. Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 4 days. For freezing, store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 months.
Tips:
Chicken Substitutes: If you are not in possession of rotisserie chicken then you may poach chicken breasts or thighs until shredded.
Flavor Variations: Hearkening with garlic powder, parmesan cheese, chili powder, Italian seasoning, ranch seasoning mix, taco seasonings, bacon pieces.
