AIR FRYER CHURROS

INGREDIENTS: AIR FRYER CHURROS
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup sugar (for coating)
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (for coating)
- Cooking spray
INSTRUCTIONS: AIR FRYER CHURROS
- In a medium saucepan, combine water, sugar, butter, and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Add flour all at once and stir vigorously until the mixture forms a ball and pulls away from the sides. Remove from heat.
- Let the dough cool slightly, then stir in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Transfer the dough to a piping bag fitted with a large star tip.
- Pipe 4-inch strips onto a parchment-lined tray.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F for 3 minutes.
- Place churros in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Lightly spray with cooking spray.
- Air fry at 375°F for 10–12 minutes or until golden brown.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon in a shallow dish. Roll warm churros in the mixture to coat.
